To develop a world-class data centre ecosystem in Rajasthan by:

🎯 Key Objectives

  1. Position Rajasthan as a cost-effective destination for the Data Centre sector in India.
  2. Develop 5 dedicated Data Centre Parks across key strategic regions of the state.
  3. Attract ₹20,000 crore investment in the Data Centre sector over 5 years.
  4. Achieve 300 MW installed capacity of Data Centres in Rajasthan within 5 years.
  5. Promote startups and MSMEs working in technology domains supporting the Data Centre ecosystem.
  6. Address and support the data localisation needs of the state in alignment with national policies.

🛠️ Policy Focus Areas

1. Infrastructure Development

  • Creation of plug-and-play Data Centre Parks
  • Support for both hyperscale and colocation centres
  • Land allocation through RIICO in industrial areas

2. Power & Energy

  • Ensure uninterrupted power supply with backup
  • Promote use of renewable energy sources (solar, wind)
  • Introduce green data centre certification incentives

3. Connectivity

  • Establish dark fibre networks
  • Collaborate with telecom companies for high-speed internet access
  • Support for satellite and edge computing infrastructure

4. Security & Localisation

  • Promote data localisation as per Indian data protection laws
  • Ensure highly secure, redundant, and disaster-resilient facilities

5. Green & Sustainable Development

  • Encourage use of eco-friendly designs, low PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness)

  • Establish Data Centre Skill Development Councils
