Tanot Mata Temple- 1,200-year-old Hindu temple in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, dedicated to Hinglaj Mata.
- Gained prominence during 1965 and 1971 Indo-Pak wars; no bombs exploded near the temple during shelling.
- Unexploded bombs from 1965 displayed in Tanot Mata Museum.
- Managed by Border Security Force (BSF) post-1971 war.
- Vijay Sthamba (Victory Pillar) built to commemorate India's victory in 1971.

Jaisalmer Fort- India's only 'living' fort, built in 1156 AD by Raja Rawal Singh.
- Constructed from yellow sandstone, known as "Sonar Quila" or "Golden Fort".
- Raj Mahal (Royal Palace) features Islamic and Rajput architectural styles.
- Jaisalmer Fort Palace Museum established in 1982 by the state archaeology department.
- Part of UNESCO World Heritage Site (2013) along with other Rajasthan forts.
- Protected under the Ancient and Historical Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1951.
Border Security Force- Established in 1965 post Indo-Pak war.
- One of the seven Central Armed Police Forces under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).
- Deployed along Indo-Pakistan and Indo-Bangladesh borders, Line of Control (LoC), and in Anti-Naxal Operations.
- Operates in Sir Creek (Arabian Sea) and Sundarbans delta (Bay of Bengal).
- Contributes to UN peacekeeping missions.
